Presentation Abstract:
Leading Difficult Conversations: Pramod Das will share research-based frameworks on leading difficult conversations effectively. This is a highly requested and interactive session. Some feedback from previous iterations of this talk include “This was the best session of the entire 3-day conference”, “You gave us tips that we can use immediately both at work and in our personal lives”.
Presenter Biography:
Pramod started project planning using hand drawn project schedule networks and calculated forward and backward passes to figure out critical paths. He progressed to a DOS based program called MicroPlanner and was mesmerized when he was introduced to something called a “mouse” and Microsoft Windows. Microsoft Project & P3 were game changers for him.
Pramod Das is the Executive Manager at Daifuku Airport America Corporation, with a diverse background spanning material handling, factory/industrial automation, manufacturing, power generation, IT, and construction industries.
Outside of work, Pramod is passionate about serving Michigan communities, and as a Harvard graduate, he got the opportunity to participate in the Harvard Innovation lab startup accelerator program and launched an online marketplace designed to help schools broadcast their students’ needs to donors in their communities. The startup has gained early traction with over 120 schools & 50,000+ students being served across the Detroit Public School and Lansing Public School districts. His startup was featured at the 2025 Detroit Auto Show.
He is also part of the teaching faculty at Harvard for Supply Chain Management, Operations Management and Project Management courses.
