Virginia Department of Transportation's (VDOT’s) 1-Day Conceptual Cost Estimating Course is now being offered around the state by the Cost Estimation Office. This day long course takes the participants through the various steps of preparing a conceptual project cost estimate. The course has been designed for professionals who are charged with developing cost estimates for funding applications. This includes VDOT personnel as well as consultants and locality personnel. The participants will also receive the latest resources available to the VDOT estimating practitioner. The topics include:
