The aim of the course:
the introduction to the best practices and basic principles of cost engineering in project
cost estimating and planning.

From this course participants will gain knowledge on:
 Structure of costs
 Methods of cost estimating for different classes of accuracy
 Production activity duration estimation taking into account learning ability
 Conducting preliminary planning for cost estimating and the estimation of the
project maturity
 Multi-payment cost estimating
 Comparison and estimation of economic alternatives
From this course participants will gain following competence:
 The ability to estimate cost for different classes of accuracy
 The ability to collect and estimate production and capital equipment costs
 To estimate project maturity
 The ability to compare multi-payment costs
 To make decisions based on comparison of economic alternatives
