The description of the course:
The course is based on the best national and international practices in the field of project cost control according to ANSI 748 and ISO standards. The course will help professionals who have basic knowledge and skills to improve their professional competence and to influence the results of the projects. This course organizes and enhances knowledge and skills in the field of cost control. Education is built on the principles used in cost engineering. The course is based on the experience of commercial and public projects and manuals in the field of project management and project cost management. The course addresses issues related to monitoring of the project control system in order to provide the effectiveness of the planned costs and issues related to the organization of the project cost control process, the estimation of the project effectiveness and forecasting.
From this course participants will gain knowledge on:
• Methods of monitoring and control of actual performance
• Advantages of using earned value method in determining the effectiveness of the project costs
• Basic structures and their role in the organization of the cost management based on costs
