Earned Schedule (ES) is a method of extracting schedule performance information from Earned Value Management (EVM) data. With its inclusion in the Project Management Institute (PMI) and the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), ES is now considered integral to EVM. The presentation will describe the origin of Earned Schedule and its relationship to EVM. From that, the ES measure will be developed along with its derived indicators and project duration forecasting. Advanced application of ES to schedule performance control will be introduced.
