The Association for the Advancement of Cost Engineering International (AACE)
Invites you to our November Meeting with Seth Howell titled “From Data to Decisions.”.
This month’s meeting will cover Trend Analytics and Risk-Informed Strategies in DOE Projects. Decision making can benefit from the information derived from trends. Projects can better stay on budget and schedule by more accurately modeling a project’s health. This approach crosses disciplines such as project management, project controls, estimating, risk, etc.. A vision for the future is to focus on improving the quality of data and communication across DOE sites. Seth Howell is a Project Risk Coordinator at Consolidated Nuclear Security (CNS), specializing in data analytics, risk management, and performance measurement for large-scale DOE/NNSA programs. A U.S. Navy veteran with a background in mathematics and economics, Seth applies advanced tools such as Primavera P6, Deltek Acumen, and Excel to enhance decision-making and project efficiency. He is pursuing his MBA at UNC Kenan-Flagler, where his focus includes AI-driven analytics, cost uncertainty modeling, and strategic project controls innovation.
