The Construction Industry Institute (CII) has long advanced best practices (BPs) to improve capital project outcomes. While these practices show strong potential, organizations need concrete data to quantify benefits and benchmark performance. To address this, CII’s RT-410 is assessing BP implementation across a growing dataset of organizations and projects. This session will present initial findings on implementation trends and the relationship between BPs and project performance. The team will also introduce the Customized Benchmarking Report, a resource available to organizations that submit survey data. The report provides comparative insights and actionable recommendations for enhancing BP use and improving outcomes. RT-410’s findings aim to help organizations refine internal processes and make more informed decisions that drive measurable performance improvements. As a collaborative, community-driven initiative, RT-410 also welcomes broader participation in its ongoing research to advance the future of capital project performance.
