About the Speaker

Samer Alsharif, PhD, PMP, is Project Controls Manager at DTE Energy – PMO Estimating and Scheduling. Previously, he has held various roles with general contractors from field engineer, project engineer, scheduler, estimator, to project manager. Samer Alsharif holds a Doctorate degree in civil engineering (Ph.D.) with a specialization in construction management. He teaches several construction management courses at Lawrence Technological University and Eastern Michigan university.
