Monte-Carlo Simulation (MCS) is the most common technique for conducting statistical analysis for decision making in construction, beyond mean, median and mode.
Tableau can be used to visualize the MSC outputs to aid decision-making. You can do all sorts when running Python scripts, including MCS, but I'd be cautious of using unverified models and those that could not be assured at this point. Typically, @Risk by Lenovo (excel based) and Oracle Primavera Risk Analysis is used for Quantitative Cost and Schedule Risk Analysis respectfully. Other popular tools are Safran Risk and Acumen Risk.
Reach out if I can help in anyway.
