No matter where you are in your career, no matter what industry, project controls is the backbone of a successful project. It’s funny, I have always said it does not matter what commodity, industry or sector you are dealing with, concrete is concrete, cable is cable, steel is steel and at the end of the day if you control your scope, time & money success will be inevitable. However, project success doesn’t just come from good planning & controls, in fact, much of the sustained success comes from its people.
For the past 28 years, in more than a dozen countries, AACEi has been there to support my development and the development of the people I have been fortunate to work with. It is a great organization to get involved with to meet like-minded professionals, helping them grow and evolve. Our organization, and the Houston Gulf Coast Chapter board members, continue to offer service to our members. We are here to help you network, search for employment, increase your education and share our knowledge through speakers and presentation.
This year, as a part of our commitment to our members, we are very proud to bring back our in-person technical meetings and we are excited to support our members as they continue to grow their network and experiences. Looking forward to a successful 2022/2023 season of growth, development & above all fun.
