The AACE Aotearoa New Zealand Section is part of AACE International, the professional association for cost engineering, total cost management, and project controls.
Founded in 2024, our section has a diverse member base across a wide range of specialisations and organisations. Members support project delivery across the full project controls spectrum, including cost planning, cost estimating, cost control, project planning, risk management, contract management, earned value management, scheduling, and project management.
We recognise the critical role of project controls and project management in achieving timely, on-budget outcomes while meeting investment and operational objectives. The section strengthens local capability by organising technical events that build practical skills through a mix of theory, demonstrations, and real-world examples—helping professionals apply best practices across industries throughout Aotearoa New Zealand.
