You also agree to reserve discussions, shared files, and content that is best suited to this medium. myAACE is a great forum to solicit the advice of your peers, benefit from their experience, and participate in discussions. AACE International reserves the right to promote the association's products, programs, and services and may post association sponsored content or surveys. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate membership in this community for anyone who violate these rules. Please contact us if you have any questions.
AACE is dedicated to maintaining a respectful and inclusive community. Please abide by the following guidelines when participating:
Please be polite to all members, even if you disagree with them. Focus on the content of posts and not on the people making them. Don’t post anything that is hateful, discriminatory, or invalidates experiences. Keep in mind that real people read your posts and comments.
Respect the Space
This is a space to practice diversity, equity, and inclusion and to create a community that is welcoming, uplifting, and informative.
Be yourself when creating your profile. Respect intellectual property. Share original content in your discussions, comments, and private messages and be sure to give credit to the author when sharing someone else’s work. Adding links that are not relevant to the community or ads for the sale of products or services will be removed.
Be a Contributor
Help establish myAACE as a powerful tool in the field by sharing success stories, challenges, constructive feedback, thoughtful answers, resources, and liking content.
Protect your personal information. Any contact information you share in comments and discussions will be visible to everyone. If you want to share private information with another member, you are encouraged to use the private messaging feature within the community. Visit your privacy settings to choose what others see on your profile.
To provide a safe space for this community, any discussions or comments may be removed at any time if an AACE International moderator feels community guidelines have been violated. Posts, comments, direct messaging, profile bios, or any media including photos, videos, and files that are defamatory, threatening, contain explicit content, advertise the sale of products or services, contain political statements, share survey links, campaign, or are considered spam will be removed. Additional action may be taken to limit a violator’s access to myAACE. Job postings or resumes may not be shared on the community. Please post jobs through the AACE Career Center. Surveys for market research or commercial benefit are not allowed. Surveys for academic research are permissible if the topic is relevant to the field, the data is collected outside of the community platform, and the results are shared with the community at the conclusion of the survey.
The intention of myAACE is to provide a space for the exchange of thoughts and ideas through posting questions and discussing topics. The community is meant to be a networking platform and to encourage member engagement. We are a community committed to quality outcomes through meaningful collaboration. Any unrelated items that detract from the conversation may be removed at the discretion of AACE International. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate membership in this community for anyone who violates these rules.
Help cultivate a safe and inclusive community on myAACE by reporting discussions, replies, and members that you feel abuse or violate these guidelines. Community users may mark a post as inappropriate for the moderator to review.
You are responsible for any content you submit on myAACE. By submitting content, you do not lose any ownership rights you may have to this content, but you understand that the content will be publicly available for others to view, share, and use at their own discretion.
