The Construction Industry Institute (CII) has long been a leader in developing and validating best practices (BPs) to drive capital project success. While CII BPs have demonstrated potential for enhanced project performance, companies require concrete data to quantify these gains and understand their relative standing within the industry. To examine the value of CII BPs in today’s capital project landscape, CII’s RT-410 is assessing their implementation across a growing dataset of organizations and projects. In this session, RT-410 will share initial findings on implementation trends and the impact of Best Practices on project performance. The team will also introduce the Customized Benchmarking Report – a complementary deliverable for organizations that submit survey data, which provides comparative insights and actionable recommendations for improving Best Practice implementation. The findings from RT-410 aim to help organizations improve internal processes and make informed decisions that will lead to performance improvements. As a collaborative, community-driven initiative, RT-410 invites broader participation in its ongoing research effort – join us in shaping the future of capital project performance.
