A Reflection on Faith and Risk Management in challenging times

For the Christian faithful, prayer is a major component of risk-based management. No matter how he/she tries to separate divine providence from the pressing undertakings, when big risk events occur like this COVID-19, people naturally go back to the certainty of their belief. It makes them significantly stronger and ready for the consequence, no matter what. In effect, some of the adverse and stressful impacts, become amazingly more manageable.

I find it very timely sharing my pen and ink drawing (circa 1991/92) about the end of times. For many believers of biblical prophecy, the signs we saw in the last year or so, were confirmations, undeniably clear and true. Unfolding events signalled to all who are willing to listen today that the end is near, if not yet here. Wars, conflicts across the spectrum, increasing wickedness, twisted truths, political unrests, murders, rising disregards to human rights, emergence of monopolistic global economy, selfishness, Godlessness, moral depravity, and more! It is my hope that those of you who see the illustration below finally realize the gravity of the situation. I urge you to offer a moment of prayer for peace and salvation.

Revelation 6:3-4 3 When the Lamb opened the second seal, I heard the second living creature say, “Come!” 4 Then another horse came out, a fiery red one. Its rider was given power to take peace from the earth and to make people kill each other. To him was given a large sword.
