The presentation, given by John J. Ciccarelli PE, CPEng, CCP PSP FAACE, Director at J.S. Held and Wayne Seiler PSP Associate Director at J.S. Held, will discuss the major ways to implement acceleration measures on construction projects and touch on industry guidelines and planning considerations for encountering acceleration. The presentation will also discuss key methods to approaching time and cost analysis and issues resulting from acceleration, and how to determine the link between causal impacts, acceleration measures, and associated costs. A few examples will be reviewed to better demonstrate the concepts.
