Christian M. Blanco is a PE Civil Engineer, Certified Construction Manager (CCM), and Project Management Professional (PMP) with extensive experience in infrastructure capital projects, project controls, and construction management. He is currently pursuing an M.S. in Civil Engineering and Engineering Mechanics at Columbia University, complementing his MBA in Finance from Universidad Privada Boliviana and B.S. in Civil Engineering from Tec de Monterrey.
With a strong background in academia, Christian has served as a Guest Lecturer at multiple institutions, including BSG Institute, Universidad Autónoma Gabriel René Moreno, and Universidad Católica Boliviana, specializing in project management, strategic leadership, and construction management.
His professional experience spans over 20 years in civil engineering, business consulting, and project oversight. Currently, he manages compliance reviews for a $10 billion aviation construction project at DFW Airport with Bureau Veritas North America, ensuring regulatory adherence and efficient stakeholder coordination. Previously, he led field inspections on a $1.3 billion aviation project at Houston Airport, improving team efficiency through innovative protocols.
Christian holds Train-the-Trainer certifications from both the Construction Management Association of America (CMAA) and the Project Management Institute (PMI). He is an active member of CMAA, PMI, and the American Concrete Institute (ACI), continuously engaging in industry advancements. Passionate about bridging academic research with real-world applications, Christian focuses on leadership, business strategy, and the optimization of project management methodologies.
