Bio

Marcos Osorio is a Senior Consultant in FTI Consulting's Construction, Projects and Asset Management practice, with over a decade of experience spanning project controls, cost engineering, schedule management, and construction claims. His background is rooted in civil engineering, and over time his work has expanded across the oil and gas, power, aviation, heavy civil, and commercial sectors.

Marcos supports owners, contractors, and subcontractors in dispute resolution, forensic analysis, delay and productivity quantification, and cost evaluation for both domestic and international matters. He has contributed to litigation and arbitration proceedings across a wide range of project types, bringing analytical rigor and a deep understanding of how projects are planned, executed, and documented in the field.

Beyond forensic work, Marcos has provided owner-side advisory services across multiple sectors, including embedded cost engineering on refinery and industrial capital portfolios, schedule oversight on power generation facilities of varying configurations, and schedule management on aviation and infrastructure projects, where he has developed and maintained project schedules and translated complex schedule data into clear, actionable insights that helped project teams anticipate risks and maintain control of their programs.

He holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Rafael Urdaneta University and an M.S. in Construction Management from the University of Houston. He is an AACE International Planning and Scheduling Professional (PSP) and a member of the Institute for Energy Law Advisory Board. Marcos is fluent in English and Spanish, and has contributed to multilingual engagements and international arbitration proceedings across the Americas.
