Akin Oni, PMP, CCP, CPTM, DTM
Akin Oni is a Senior Project Executive in the Oil, Gas and Mining industries, for well over 3 decades. He is currently Senior Director within Cheniere Energy’s Engineering and Construction Team, with responsibilities that span all major LNG, Pipelines and Infrastructure Developments, and new Growth Opportunities.
Prior to joining Cheniere, Mr. Oni held senior project delivery, functional and transactions project management roles in the Oil, Gas and Mining industries in Nigeria, the UK, Canada, Australia, Japan, and the US for the likes of BHP, Stantec, NETCO, etc. He earned a BSc degree in Mechanical Engineering (Ife, Nigeria) and an Executive MBA in Project Management (Athabasca, Canada). Mr. Oni is a certified PMP, a certified Cost Engineer, a Certified Professional in Training Management, and a Distinguished Toastmaster.
His cross-continental Engineering Project Management career, is further enriched by his undeniable passion for people, planning and performance, and their overall impacts on the society.
