Rising Professionals Committee Technical Event: Introducing and Managing Neurodiversity in Construction and Project Controls

As a project manager, colleague, or business owner it is likely that you have or will work with neurodivergent individuals with autism, ADHD, dyslexia, or others in the workplace. According to studies [1], 15 to 20 percent of the population is neurodiverse. Neurodiversity affects how one learns, processes information, and perceives the world around them. In this panel discussion, panelists will introduce neurodivergence, how to connect and accommodate neurodivergent workers from a small business to a large corporation, and the benefits of neuro-diversifying the workforce.
